Transparency and openness

At OpenGit we use 100% free and open source software. This means that the source code is publicly accessible. Anyone is able to contribute improvements or adjustments to the software and it can be audited and controlled at any moment.

We want to be fully transparent and open towards our users. Therefore we commit to publishing the following information about the project:

  • the currently available services;
  • our plans and ideas for the services;
  • the financial status;
  • an overview of any sponsors and/or donors;

See our Annual Reports section for full details.

Abuse and security issues

If you encounter abusive or malicious user content, please notify us at abuse@opengit.eu.

If you encounter security issues in the software we use, please send them to the Forgejo security team via security@forgejo.org. (Details and PGP key)
